To promote the new feature “Watch Together” on Messenger.
We created a concert for friends by friends.
Messenger introduced a new feature called Watch Together, which allows users to simultaneously stream and view videos while on a call. To get people to check it out with their own friends, we put on a virtual concert with superstars and super-friends Steve Aoki and Travis Barker. We filmed the 25 minute concert at Steve’s Playhouse in Las Vegas, got into some high altitude hi-jinx, and also created a custom set of Stickers and Soundmojis ( two new limited-edition Soundmojis, a new feature that lets you send short sound clips in a Messenger chat.) Steve created a special air horn effect for the 🤟 emoji, while Travis performed a killer mini drum solo for his favorite emoji 🥁.
